At Pinta y Pinto, our mission is to inspire the curiosity and creativity of people of all ages through giant colouring maps that encourage learning together as a family. They are not only a fun activity, but also an educational tool that cultivate learning and bonding as a family.
Our goal is to continue to expand our collection of illustrated maps, reaching more homes and schools to create unforgettable experiences.
Pinta y Pinto began with a special family moment. My children, nephews and nieces, of different ages, were arguing over unimportant things. To calm things down, I took out the biggest piece of cardboard I had and started drawing something for them to colour together. In a few minutes, what was a fight turned into laughter, sharing colours and enjoying the moment.
That experience was the starting point. During a holiday, we adults wanted to explore monuments, but the children quickly got bored. That's when I had the idea: What if we created giant colouring maps that not only had fun, but also sparked curiosity and encouraged them to explore the world?
Thus Pinta y Pinto was born, with the aim of connecting people of all ages through creativity, fun and learning with giant maps.
From the beginning, Pinta y Pinto has been a firm believer in the combination of art and education. The first steps were not easy. We started with the map of the Way of Saint James Camino de Santiago, because all the children wanted to do the Camino but were still too young. It was a lot of hours of dedication and the desire to offer something unique. We wanted each design not only to be fun to colour, but also to be a didactic tool that would awaken curiosity and help share experiences from parents to children.
In the beginning, it was not easy to find the best way to produce the maps on a large scale without losing quality and to make sure that every detail was clear and educational enough for the little ones, but also appealing to adults. It was a process of trial and error, full of learning. However, what drove us was the enthusiasm of the first families and educators who tried our products. Seeing how the maps connected parents, children, teachers and students in a creative and educational activity was what gave us the strength to keep going.
As our portfolio grew, so did our commitment to quality. We refined designs, improved materials, and listened to our community to adapt and improve every detail. Today, our collection encompasses themed maps of cities, countries, history and geography. Each one reflects our passion for creating experiences that combine fun and learning.
At Pinta y Pinto, we don't just create fun products; we seek to create special moments that connect people through creativity, play and discovery. Our goal remains the same: to inspire more people to learn, explore and, above all, have fun together.
